General Accident operate an online only business and, subject to any legal or regulatory requirements, we shall communicate with you by e-mail, SMS text or other electronic means in connection with your policy and associated documentation (including but not limited to policy documentation, consumer credit documentation, claims handling documentation and complaints). However, if you’d prefer to receive paper documents, you can request them free of charge.
Paperless Direct Debit
No postal correspondence will be entered into at the outset of the Direct Debit sign up process if the option to pay for your insurance by monthly Direct Debit is selected. Customers not wishing to sign up to Direct Debit online will therefore not be able to purchase General Accident insurance on a monthly payment plan.
